The Role
thirdweb is a full stack web3 development platform to help web3 devs build, monetize and scale their applications, games and agents. thirdweb raised a $24m Series A from Haun Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, and Shopify Ventures in 2022.
thirdweb is looking for a Business Operations hire with a Finance background who can creatively solve any problem that gets thrown your way with relentless execution. You’ll work directly with stakeholders across the org and get to wear lots of hats: company strategy, business operations, marketing, sales, hiring, finance, product, etc ‐ whatever is the top priority.
This will be a SF Based hybrid role with at least 50 hours a week. This role is best for those who want to start their own company in the future. Please do not apply if this is not what you are looking for.
Responsibilities
- Business Operations: help cross-functional stakeholders when there is a gap in process or there is no owner to take it on. Focusing on drivers that move the needle and drive execution via data.
- Special Projects: lead and help with strategic priorities on anything and everything on behalf of our cross-functional stakeholders. This includes Lead Generation, Figma Designs, no work is above or beneath us.
- Operations: Finance, Legal, Compliance, Recruiting, IT, anything that is required to ensure day- to-day operations are running smoothly.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in a operations role at a fast growth startup in Business Operations, Strategic Finance or Corporate Strategy / Development functions.
- 1-2 years of experience in crypto, NFTs and a passion to stay on top of the web3 and NFT ecosystem.
- Lead planning through execution and consistently getting hands dirty.
- Comfortable dropping into all types of challenges required to move the needle for the company.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with urgency; previous founders plus points.
