Velvet Hammer Music and Management Group is a boutique artist management, record label, and publishing company based in West Hollywood, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to elevate the company's digital practices by implementing the latest trends and technologies to suit our artist brands. This role leads digital improvement initiatives, develops and executes social media plans, all the while growing our artists' social presence. This full-time, in-office position requires creativity, improvisation, organization, and clear communication. This person will report directly to each artist manager on a daily basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations for comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across the company, including strategy development, campaign execution, community management, analytics, ad plans, and email marketing
  • Strategize social content for multiple profiles across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord, along with other emerging social platforms
  • Develop long term content plans that suit each artists' brand to further grow their digital platforms
  • Create graphics and edit content in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), FinalCutPro, iMovie, or similar software
  • Provide artist managers with social calendars for approval to ensure organized and effective execution
  • Daily website/social media maintenance to confirm all is running properly
  • Create and monitor effective ad campaigns (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, and budgeting, etc.)
  • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of the latest trends and technologies, including NFTs, metaverse, crypto, web3, etc
  • On-site management of digital and social activities at events like photo/video shoots, live shows, etc

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years digital marketing/social media management experience
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation & analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Clear knowledge of the music industry
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficient with all social media platforms, including TikTok
  • Experience with Photoshop and video editing
  • This is an in-office position located in West Hollywood, CA
