While we see massive growth in all parts of Web3, NFTs as an asset class remain immature and difficult to use for a few reasons:
- Displaying and tracking your NFTs is hard - due to the many unconsolidated blockchains, services, and platforms that exist.
- Managing your NFT portfolio as an investment is complicated.
- NFTs lack financial utilities and offer fewer benefits than non-digital assets.
- Web3 ecosystem lacks mainstream-friendly user experience and focuses on crypto âdegensâ.
đ° So what is Nabu?
Our vision is to empower NFT collectors to unlock the full value of their NFTs and make NFT ownership as rewarding and flexible as owning traditional assets. We are building a Machine Learning powered valuation engine to accurately price NFT collections. We believe improved NFT pricing will increase transparency, reduce information friction in NFT markets and encourage participation from a broader community of users - thus opening the floodgates to a new wave of financial NFT products and protocols such as NFT-backed loans.

đ¤ About You
You are an experienced data scientist with an entrepreneurial mindset and interest in the Web3 space. As a senior data scientist for Nabu, you will help craft our data strategy, in charge of setting up and leading the data team as well as getting your hands dirty to build the product. A real challenge in all aspects!
đ As senior data scientist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and improving a market leading NFT valuation model
- Identifying and ingesting new Web3 data sources (from APIs or directly from the blockchain)
- Working with the engineering team to build out the infrastructure to run ML algorithms in production
- Develop processes to optimise development of NFT related data science tools and analysis
- Hiring and mentoring a fantastic, high-performing data science and insights team
đŻ You have the following skills & competencies:
- Building ML valuation applications
- Good comfort levels with deploying ML algorithms and infrastructure to production systems
- Experience working with engineering teams to deploy and iterate on products in the cloud
- Ability to define and guide data science projects from start to finish
- Comfortable working with Python, Docker, MongoDB and Git
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the new Web3 frontier
