We’ve been at the forefront of cryptocurrency exchanges since 2016, when we launched our XBTUSD perpetual swap. Fast forward to now and it remains the most traded cryptocurrency product of all time.

It changed the industry and has allowed us to continue innovating and expanding with new perpetual swaps, traditional futures and quanto futures products.

Crypto is changing, and we’re changing with it. We’re expanding our capabilities to serve a broader subset of users through establishing spot, custody, and brokerage capabilities, as well as information products and an academy. We’re hiring an increasingly more diverse employee base to help us achieve this, and setting the groundwork to invest in a more diverse crypto talent pipeline.

The Role
As part of our transformation programme, we are working on revamping all of our public facing digital properties. We are looking for experienced software engineers with a keen eye for detail, great initiative and an appreciation for a design led experience that flows across all touchpoints.

In this role, you will work to revamp our existing digital ecosystem, including but not limited to website, blog, support portal, email templates and more. Additionally, it’s an opportunity to identify, take on and own greenfield projects that support our new business lines and products.

You will work with a team of creative software engineers and designers focussed on delivering cutting edge websites to surprise, delight and engage our customers.

As a new department, the Digital Tech team has the opportunity to define our own stack based on the best available technologies, and the budget we need to find the best possible solution.

Our current stack: Typescript, NextJS, React, Express, GraphQL, Redshift, Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, build and deploy services to support our new business lines in their marketing and creative efforts
• Build out novel frontend experiences on our public websites and products
• Support our web deployments at scale

Qualifications

• Experience with Typescript and frontend frameworks (ideally React)
• Supported high traffic, high performance public facing web applications
• Nice to have:
• An eye for detail when it comes to UI/UX
• Experience with micro-interactions and CSS animation
• Marketing-specific experience, such as SEO optimization, Google Analytics etc.
• An entrepreneurial spirit, with a history of working with startups
