Chive Media Group is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join the original content team, helping to service the whole Chive Media Group machine: Editorial, Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, etc.. Candidates must have strong narrative instincts and be extremely competent with Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite. Must be organized, efficient at managing your time across multiple projects, and focused on deadlines.

• Editing a consistent flow of video projects from start to finish
• Working in collaboration with Producers and content creators
• Creating title graphics and applying basic effects and animations
• Performing basic color corrections and audio mixes
• Exporting final edits to multiple delivery formats and platforms
  

• Candidates must provide reels and/or work samples
• Professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro is a must
• After Effects, Media Encoder, and other creative suite proficiencies are a plus
• An eye for good footage, and a good ear for music
• Must be a reasonably quick and efficient editor
• Ability to handle a steady workflow, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
• Must be a good collaborator and contributor
• Strong sense for narrative, pacing, and tone
• Strong sense for comedic timing and rhythm is a huge plus
• Must demonstrate a clear understanding of our voice and brand
• Experience creating online branded content is a plus
• An eagerness to continually learn, improve, and try new things is a huge plus
