Overview
- We’re hiring someone to come in and Lead all of Nansen’s BI, Data Analytics, and DS teams. This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of data internally for a company where data and analytics are the product!
Your responsibilities
- Build and scale an incredible analytics, data science and business intelligence team
- Help figure out how to scale a data-driven culture across Nansen, from getting the data “right”, to figuring out our KPIs, to choosing the right BI tools and more
- Be at the forefront of using data, models, and analysis to guide strategic decision making. We’ve got numerous exciting projects and topics we need to master including unit economics, marketing attribution, conversion and retention, growth, …
Your experience
- You have prior experience building, scaling and leading a BI, analytics, and DS team at a fast growing Tech company from inception (or close to inception)
- You are comfortable with the modern “data stack” and how to deploy and implement this (for reference Nansen uses GCP, with Big Query and DBT)

- Self-starter and able to operate independently, with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining a focus on delivery and excellence at work
- Willing to get your hands dirty. You’ll be joining the team early on, and need to be able to and happy to do and build yourself
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changes in priorities and plans
- Empathetic, kind, curious, and sincere, with bonus points for crypto fluency!
