Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including popular frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Ensure that web applications are compatible with multiple browsers and platforms, addressing any compatibility issues that may arise.
• Optimize the performance of web applications by reducing load times, improving rendering speed, and implementing best practices in code and asset management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following coding standards and best practices. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design concepts, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Ensure web applications comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to make them usable by individuals with disabilities.
• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with other developers effectively.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a bug-free user experience.
• Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities (e.g., Cross-Site Scripting, SQL Injection).
• Architect web applications to handle increasing traffic and data loads, considering scalability and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for web applications, including API documentation, coding standards, and development processes.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver integrated web solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into projects where applicable.

Requirements:

• A university degree in finance, computer science, or related field, or equivalent credentials
• 3 to 5 years of webdevelopment experience in an internet, e-commerce, enterprise software, payments or banking
• 3 to 5years of React JS development experience
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, ES6, solid front-end foundation
• Experience in building a complete front-end framework independently, know the packaging, building and deploying processes.
• Understand HTTP related knowledge and kernel features of the browser
• Experience in performance optimization and code optimization, strong thinking
  and independent problem-solving ability
• Experience in developing SSR projects, familiar with nextjs or other react server-side rendering frameworks
• Familiar with Node JS, know the frequently-used APIs of Node JS

• Wage Range: CAD $114,000 to $120,000
