About OAK Network
OAK Network builds a layer-1 for on-chain automation, and aims to be the cross-chain automation infrastructure for web3. We raised a $5.5M Seed from Greylock, Foundation, Electric, and GSR Sep 2021 as well as a following round Sep 2022, launched a Kusama parachain in April 2022 and just won a Polkadot parachain slot within 18 hours. Our mainnet will launch in Nov 2022.
About The Role
OAK Network will be a parachain of Polkadot, and is being building off of the Substrate blockchain framework in Rust. You’ll be part of OAK’s blockchain development team and lead efforts to streamline deployment, upgrade and monitoring of network nodes, website and application node.js servers.
What You’ll Do
- Create and execute automation plans for zero downtime network node upgrade and swap
- Orchestrate load balancer in front of OVH node servers
- Scale and maintain CI/CD processes that promote faster, more reliable deployment
- Ensure full visibility on the health and performance of network nodes
- Create disaster recovery drills and run-books to prepare for a variety of incidents
- A strong background in software engineering or computer science.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Familiar with both bare metal servers and AWS ECS
- Strong knowledge of automating infrastructure management and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Experience with Grafana is a plus
