Join Morningstar Ventures; we are a young, fast-moving, entrepreneurial team focused on crypto and blockchain projects.

The Head Of Content will work closely with both Morningstar Venture product leads and our portfolio companies to create high-quality content for distribution across a variety of channels.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced writer or journalist with a strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, markets, and the ecosystem in general.

They will be able to write detailed technical and financial reports whilst simultaneously being able to portray these concepts in an easy-to-understand manner to suit all types of audience.

The role is ultimately to help build Morningstar Ventures brand and reputation, create engagement with both our own product lines and also that of our portfolio companies that we have invested in.

About you:

• Highly organized individual with demonstrable writing experience in the cryptocurrency sector;

• Detailed technical understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, markets, and trends;

• Passionate writer with an entrepreneurial spirit that can lead the content creation for a rapidly growing organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Help continue to establish Morningstar Ventures reputation as a leading VC in the crypto space;

• Be proficient and have experience in writing technical and financial reviews of both projects and markets;

• Build and maintain a bank of content (i.e. blog posts, graphics, white papers) that can be used and referred to at any time by the team;

• Develop a strategy for content development and work with Morningstar Ventures product leads and portfolio companies to engage our community and customers;

• Be able to explain complex concepts and projects in an understandable and clear manner as well as producing a variety of content that includes but is not limited to documentation, blogs, long reads and social media posts;

• Support the Head of Comms & Community with social media and company messaging to help build support and awareness of the brand;

• Manage multiple tasks and projects at any given time.

Essentials:

• Brilliant written and verbal communication skills in English;

• Detailed understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and markets;

• Passionate about educating your readers;

• Ability to take initiative, to work proactively and thrive on quick turnarounds and deadlines.

Nice-to-have's:

• Additional languages a bonus;

• High attention to detail with an interest in design - our content has to look as good as it reads;

• Experience in marketing communications environment either agency or client-side;

• Editorially qualified or experienced.
