Your Opportunity: 

You’ll help build systems critical to our current and future operations, responsible for handling billions of dollars of trading volume. You’ll join during a period of rapid growth and help shape resilient systems that can handle the growing pains that come with the territory. You’ll be at the vanguard of a new era in financial technology, and help find solutions to problems we don’t even know exist yet. 

Your Responsibilities: 

- Build and own scalable services responsible for reliable and secure APIs that transfer value and assets across all blockchain protocols - Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack - Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes 

Requirements: 

- You spend your free time learning new things, and have a demonstrated interest in DeFi and financial technology - You have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems - You take security seriously - We work mostly in Typescript, Go, Rust, and Python. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework 

Nice To Haves: 

- Familiarity with Coinbase Developer Platform, Prime Trading and Custody systems - Experience with offensive security in crypto and finance 

Pay & Benefits: 

$180k + USD base salary + Generous equity compensation & health benefits
