Description:

As the ecosystem lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving the growth of the Aztec ecosystem. This position requires someone who is passionate about supporting founders and builders of applications and core infrastructure for Aztec. You will work closely with product, marketing, community, and developer relations teams to design, develop, and implement ecosystem efforts that ensure the Aztec ecosystem flourishes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and collaborate with leadership and product teams to develop Aztec’s ecosystem growth strategy
• Design and implement growth initiatives by forming strategic partnerships and overseeing the grants program
• Establish incubation program to provide resources and structured support to high potential partners that are building apps and core infrastructure that are native to Aztec
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce relevant ecosystem focused content and scale the community experience to increase awareness and engagement
• Oversee our external and internal (online and offline) events efforts, and ensure events strategy is aligned with our ecosystem efforts
• Coordinate with the product and partnerships team to drive ecosystem expansion in line with product and integrations roadmap
• Align internal teams to provide technical support to strategic ecosystem projects and ensure partners’ feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap
• Build relationships with ecosystem investors and strategic partners to support ecosystem projects with fundraising, product development, and go to market efforts
• Define and track KPIs and metrics for acquisition funnel and ecosystem success

Qualifications:

• This is a mid-to-senior level role (depending on the candidate). However, there is no degree requirement and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
• The only important qualifications in this role are:
• 5+ years experience working with start-ups and notable experience in Web3
• Ability to drive projects independently, coordinate with stakeholders across the company, and manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a high quality of work
• Passionate about collaborating with developers and startup founders
• Eager to promote Aztec and its value proposition of programmable privacy to builders
• Resourcefulness, adaptability and creative problem solving
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-have:

• Located in the United States or the United Kingdom
• Deep understanding of the blockchain landscape and other ecosystems
• A great network within the blockchain ecosystem
• Experience in incubating projects or incubating an ecosystem
• Team management experience
