Role Overview:
We are seeking an Head of Spot Trading to lead a team. This role is crucial for driving the growth, profitability, and operational excellence the company's spot trading services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trading operations, risk management, and process optimization, along with strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across departments to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies and initiatives to drive the growth of the spot trading business.
- Identify market opportunities and implement measures to maximize profitability.
- Oversee the seamless operation of the Spot Business Unit, minimizing incidents and disruptions.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to protect user interests and company assets.
- Continuously optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with other business units to ensure cohesive and integrated operations.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in crypto and preferably 5+ years in spot trading in the financial services and/or cryptocurrency industry.
- Extensive experience in risk management and process optimization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Deep understanding of spot trading operations and market dynamics.
- Ability to drive growth, profitability, and operational integrity.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with internal stakeholders.
