About the Role:

Ogilvy Sydney is looking for a Brand Manager (Activations) to join on a 2 year secondment to work with our client partner, Coca-Cola. You will be an Ogilvy employee, but based with the Coca-Cola team, so you’ll get to enjoy the best of both worlds of agency and client.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead localisation and real-time amplification of marketing campaigns for Australia, working directly with agencies partners across ATL & BTL.
  • Support agreed annual plan through execution of BTL marketing programs inclusive of shopper/POSM, experiential, sampling and consumer promotions.
  • Execute elements of marketing campaigns, as agreed with the Senior Brand Manager eg. Radio partnerships, Experiential, Outdoor.
  • Support the Bottler in their Customer & Shopper marketing agenda.
  • Ensure all consumer facing materials are approved in a timely manner by the local approval process.
  • Budget management.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Brand activation (4-6 years), but not limited to execution of experiential / samplings, events, KOL or ATL campaigns, transcreation of communication materials - can be on industry side or in account management in an agency.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred.

Work Focus

  • Ability to independently execute brand programs
  • Ability to identify needs for campaign localisation or customisation as necessary
  • Ability to provide region specific input on marketing plans (e.g. consumer / shopper insights)
  • Ability to coordinate full details (calendars, resources, metrics) of local activation with Bottlers

Communication Focus

  • Role will require frequent communication with Cluster Frontline CCTM Lead, OU category, OU IMX and Bottler Customer Marketing Teams.
  • Role will also interact regularly with external agencies and with our bottler.
