We are looking to add entry to intermediate level security analysts to join our 7x24 SOC team. The role will act as the first responder handling alerts triage in our SOC environment.

Responsibilities

• Active participant in 24x7 operations of the SOC. This includes proactively monitoring and providing near-real-time cyber security status and reports to enable timely decision-making for 24x7 operations.
• Perform security events analysis and alerts triage.
• Perform network availability monitoring
• Perform vulnerability monitoring and mitigation
• Follow standard operating procedures and handle issue escalations in case of incidents
• Assist in other security related tasks and responsibilities as assigned (e.g. building system / threat intelligence / SIEM maintenance)
• Support in the creation of various metrics, reporting, review of incident progress and compliance status

• At least 1 year experience in Information Security
• Experience with SIEM systems.
• Sound knowledge in IT security and compliance concepts, architecture and controls.
• Basic understanding and experience of cyber security technologies.
• Experience with Cloud environments like AWS and Azure is a plus.
• Experience in using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data or programming experience is a plus.
• Holder of IT / security related certifications is a definite asset.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-minded and result-oriented characters; good team player.
