Pixelynx is a new music and gaming venture that has been launched by deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin. We are building a music metaverse that makes it easy for any artist, label or events to launch their own interactive experiences and monetise them through Digital Collectables (NFTs)

Pixelynx is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to hit the ground running in directing and overseeing our Marketing department. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a Web3 consumer focused Marketing background, experience managing a variety of creative campaigns end-to-end and play a significant role in shaping the company’s strategic planning by providing key impressions and insight into the Web3 space as it grows and develops. We are open to a range of experience levels, including VP of Marketing and CMO.

This role is US based, fully remote and will be open to a contracting opportunity

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to drive growth and product awareness
  • Devise and implement media buying plans, with a focus on mobile and web user acquisition
  • Strategize and supervise social media activity, including Discord, Reddit, Twitter and Tik Tok
  • Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
  • Build and track the Marketing department’s budget
  • Strengthen relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns against established KPI and improve them when necessary
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
  • Track competitors’ activities

Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Head of/VP of Marketing, CMO or other senior role in Entertainment, Gaming, or Music
  • Experience designing and implementing successful creative marketing campaigns in direct-to-consumer space, gaming experience highly preferred
  • Expert knowledge of the Web3 space, especially how communities are nurtured, grown and activated
  • You have a solid understanding of current and emerging youth culture
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic and creative mindset
