Quality & Delivery Lead
SELF is seeking a senior-level leader with deep experience in Quality Engineering practices as well as expertise in the technical delivery of products to market. This role will be a mix of driving the quality of the products we release and defining and implementing how and how often those releases reach their targeted audiences.
This is a full-time role reporting to the Head of Engineering that can be held anywhere in the world.
Core Skills:
- Progressive quality engineering and quality leadership experience in driving, managing, and delivering complex (and successful) multi-stakeholder product releases in early-stage company environments.
- Senior-level expertise around the design and development of builds (and associated scripts), installation procedures, and related systems, including source control and bug/issue reporting and tracking.
- Repeated experience working cross-functionally and commonly acting as a doer more than a delegator.
- Solid experience with fully remote communication skills.
What you’ll do at SELF ID:
- Establish, lead, and manage quality engineering practices for Self.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability for quality in products.
- Drive stable cross-functional working relationships across Self for best-in-class QE experiences.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align quality engineering efforts with frequently evolving business initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers to expand testing best practices and tools.
- Collaborate with product management to ensure reliable delivery of products to market.
- Drive excellent engineering documentation practices in coordination with Self’s documentation lead and maintain test plans and reporting.
What Excites Us:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of developing and deploying blockchain-related/adjacent solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get scrappy—we are a startup after all
- Blockchain, crypto, web3 experience a plus
Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000 per annum
