We are looking for a super creative intern to help with creating the social media strategy and posts. After a small amount of coaching, you'll take ownership of our posts across all social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This is a great opportunity for anyone that loves Social and is pursuing a career in marketing.
Background
Journey is a new Social app that helps build communities around passion points and interests -- pushing people to step out of their comfort zone to pursue the things that matter to them. Think of it as the love-child of Instagram, Reddit, and Strava.
The Role
While the role will be a great learning and portfolio building experience, note that it is an unpaid internship. The breadth of experience you will gain will include, but not be limited to:
- Helping to define the brand voice
- Creating a content plan and cadence
- Scheduling posts and posting regularly across multiple social channels
- Building social templates
- Monitoring social analytics
Skills and Experience (Required)
A passion for Social and experience building your own following
Skills and Experience (Nice to have)
- Experience with Canva or similar social post design tools
- Experience with Buffer
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications
