About KAST

KAST is redefining what it means to bank with stablecoins - think Revolut, rebuilt from scratch on Web3. Backed by top-tier VCs, we’ve grown from 0 to 1 million users in under a year. We’re building the next-gen global bank based entirely on stablecoins.

Design is at the heart of everything we do - it’s how we simplify the complex, make money feel easy, and turn crypto skeptics into brand ambassadors.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Sr. Data Engineer to lead the buildout of both our growth analytics stack and core data platform. This role is more than just implementation — it’s a high-impact opportunity to architect, ship, and scale critical infrastructure from the ground up.

You’ll be empowered to design and deploy best-in-class data pipelines, analytics tooling, and warehouse structures — using leading tools and frameworks. You’ll work directly with platform, product, growth, engineering, and leadership to ensure data is actionable, accurate, and central to every decision we make.

This is a role with real ownership, broad scope, and the ability to shape how data is used across the entire company.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of refining and evolving the AWS data platform (Redshift, S3, DMS, Glue, etc.) to support growing analytical demands with better speed, scale, and cost control.
  • Take ownership of analytics tooling (Firebase, Branch.io, Mixpanel), focusing on proper configuration, clean event structures, and seamless end-to-end tracking.
  • Build and maintain reliable attribution flows to ensure precise campaign tracking and actionable measurement.
  • Design and build resilient data pipelines (batch and real-time) to support marketing attribution, product analytics, and internal tooling
  • Build pipelines to power ML/AI-based features — from user scoring to automated targeting and forecasting.
  • Integrate and transform user behavior and growth signals into a consistent analytics layer

ā€

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Redshift — building data platforms and pipelines
  • Proven expertise with app analytics stacks including Firebase, Branch.io, and Mixpanel
  • Fluency in SQL and a scripting language (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
  • Solid experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of marketing attribution, campaign analytics, and tracking integrity
  • A builder mentality — capable of going deep, shipping fast, and working independently
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in FinTech, web3, payments, or fast-growing consumer apps
  • Experience building ML/AI-powered pipelines (e.g. for personalization, scoring, or prediction)

ā€

Why KAST?

  • Build a product that sets a new standard in banking
  • Join a no-BS, fun, high-performance team backed by the best
  • Remote across Global - with real ownership and creative freedom
  • Competitive comp + meaningful equity upside
