We see a future where all banks will need to support digital assets and provide a responsive, online interface to tech-savvy customers. Custodia is already a chartered bank and is building digital asset products alongside its US dollar payment offering, including custody and settlement services. The Custodia team is comprised of all-stars with deep experience in both bitcoin and traditional financial services.

If you expect more from existing banks, join our team and help build a better one, from the ground up. We are currently looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our organization as our first Operations Analyst. 

About Your Role

Your main role is to improve the overall operational efficiency of the bank, so you need to be observant, detailed and ensure appropriate procedures are being adhered to. This is a dynamic position – you will need to be able to collaborate with others as well as work individually. You should have a strong ability to multitask, handle high volumes, and support cross-functional teams. 

Responsibilities & Results

    • Perform timely and accurate daily reconciliation of out-of-balance items.
    • Assist in performing and building out the bank’s customer service strategy.
    • Liaise with compliance for operational functions to ensure appropriate procedures are in place and being adhered to.
    • Assist in timely response to customer inquiries and appropriate escalation as needed.
    • Adhere to internal review/release procedures for wires and provide assistance in improving our internal review/release processes to achieve that goal.
    • Perform back-up and support roles for senior operations and custody team members.

What You’ll Bring

    • Must have at least 1-2 years of direct experience in a bank operations role at a U.S. bank.
    • Must be fluent in payment activities such as wires and ACH processes.
    • Must be tech-savvy and crypto-curious. Experience with digital assets not required.
    • Must be comfortable with a start-up environment whose colleagues primarily work remotely.
