Web3 Growth Lead

Colony is a fully distributed team that occasionally convenes somewhere in the world to work and hang out together. The rest of the time, we communicate over Discord. It’s a dynamic environment that requires grit, flexibility, self-motivation, and a sense of emoji etiquette.

**The Role**

Colony is gearing up for the launch of a major new version of its application. Your job will be to get it into the hands of users.

You will be responsible for crafting and executing Colony's comprehensive go-to-market strategy. Your efforts will focus on enhancing brand visibility and accelerating product adoption among target customers.

**Areas of ownership**

**Strategic:** Design and implement the go to market strategy for “New Colony”.
**Operational:** Assemble, lead, and manage a high-performing growth team
**Tactical:** Actively execute hands-on tasks and initiatives.
**Financial:** Define and manage growth budgets prioritising ROI

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design and execute strategic growth plans aligned with overall business Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and leverage data-driven decisions to drive growth.
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing growth team to achieve company objectives.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate growth campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize budgets for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, influencers, and media outlets.
- Stay informed on the latest marketing trends, tools, best practices, and developments in DAOs and blockchain technology.

**About You**

The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive for self-motivation and have a proven track record of successfully bringing a B2C SaaS product to market, capturing market share, and excelling within industry sectors. You should be prepared to discuss your achievements, the obstacles you encountered in terms of product adoption, and the strategies you employed to overcome these challenges.

We are seeking a candidate who excels at both strategizing and hands-on execution, as well as delegating tasks to specialists. While building a team is essential, it takes time, so we require someone capable of executing their strategies independently. If you're not prepared to actively contribute in both planning and implementation, kindly refrain from applying.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on B2C SaaS startups.
- 2+ years of experience working within a distributed team.
- Proven track record of taking startups to market and achieving traction.
- Demonstrable success in winning market share and dominating sectors, backed by clear numbers and evidence.

- Embraces a collaborative approach, fostering a positive team environment and effectively communicating with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

**Bonus Points:**

- Expertise in developing growth strategies for DAOs and blockchain technology projects.
- Familiarity with growth tools and tactics specific to the blockchain industry.
- Experience in managing growth campaigns for decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs) or similar projects.
