Web3 Lead of content marketing and PR

As the Lead of PR & Content Marketing, you will be working closely with all departments within Cere to implement the company’s internal and external communication strategy.

PR:

  • Develop and implement media relations plans for technical products and CERE's brand stories;
  • Strengthen existing relationships and cultivate new relationships with online, broadcast reporters, producers, bloggers, and influencers;
  • Reactively respond to media inquiries, educate reporters, correct misperceptions, and work with the team on issues and crisis communications;
  • Work with executives around the company to position thought leaders and content with top tier media outlets;
  • Collaborate closely with the communications team, content, growth marketing, product marketing teams to implement the company's external communication strategy;
  • Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events, and create press materials including media pitches, FAQs, fact sheets in a fast-paced environment;
  • The storyline with executives to create thoughtful pitches and narratives;
  • Measure and report the impact of campaigns using key performance indicators;
  • Lead and manage strategic PR accounts in the world of DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain;
  • Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns;
  • Analyze PR outcomes, interpret data and optimize your results.

Content:

  • Support Marketing Leads to drive content synchronization and creation around the different business organizations and the latest blockchain, cryptocurrency, and enterprise trends to position the company as an industry thought leader;
  • Build and maintain a repository/ resource bank of content produced from different business areas (Blog posts, images, videos, case studies, white papers, reviews, news sites, forums, etc.)
  • Ensure the appropriate feedback is incorporated into digital content and approval processes are followed;
  • Monitor and be aware of the performance of digital content and make recommendations for improving the effectiveness;
  • Work with Community Managers to update content calendars, ensuring correct tagging and tracking capabilities are in place.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of public relations and content marketing experience, preferably with a fintech or agency serving fintech clients;
  • Experience working on blockchain/crypto projects;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the cryptocurrency or blockchain landscape, DeFi, and NFTs;
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees;
  • Experience working with executives at a major company or fast-paced startup;
  • Self-starter that is capable of independently pushing projects to completion;
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically;
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner;
  • Comfortable using complex data analytics to drive business strategy;
  • Excellent personal leadership, change management, and ability to influence cross-functionally—can conduct an intellectually honest dialogue, brings out the diversity of ideas, and creates the appropriate team connectivity;
  • Strong communicator of the company's strategic initiatives, purpose, vision, culture, and plan.
