The Company:


I am currently working with a Series A SEC and FINRA member broker-dealer that operates an Alternative Trading System for private traditional and digital securities. This scaling startup is looking to bring its technology team internally and is seeking an entrepreneurial CTO to build this team, implement the architecture, and ensure security and regulations are met. This company enables other companies to build long-term relationships with their investors' community.


✅ Primary Responsibilities:


  • Design and development the technology strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Build, lead, and grow the technology team and build out the necessary technology infrastructure to support the vision and purpose of the company
  • Collaborate with the senior management team and 3rd party technology vendors
  • Ensure systems and processes comply with appropriate regulatory frameworks (SEC/FINRA)

✅ Requirements:


  • 10+ years of software engineering experience (background in Financial Services/FinTech)
  • Experience with capital markets – understand ATS, regulations, traditional banking
  • Experience with digital assets – DLT technologies (Ethereum & Hyperledger – Ruby, Solidity, Go, Python)
  • 3+ years of being in a management or a leadership position
