Responsibilities

• Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact

• Documentation and design of test scenarios

• Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional frontend, backend and also security solutions’ issues

• Use DevOps principles to script and automate workflows

• Conduct manual and automated testing on the security solutions with the DevSecOps team

• Root cause analysis of existing test script failures

• Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage

• Seek out potential threats to security and reliability and advocate solutions

• Work closely with different counterparts, e.g. Business users, Project teams, DevOps, Test teams (SIT/SAT/UAT/OAT) and development teams to define effective team collaboration process

• Operate with understanding of both compliance and risk team requirements

• Assist with all aspects of operational security and compliance

• 3 years+ of frontend QA engineering manual/auto testing experience (senior title is also considered for experienced candidate)
• Experienced testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services (non-monolithic)
• Strong knowledge of different test design framework e.g. BDD test framework
• Think-first. Able to figure out the core problems and deliver the most elegant solution
• Ability to code. You are expected to write some maintainable code
• Eager to learn new things. Capable to pick up various technologies, a fast learner and have a “get things done” mentality
• Love automation. We care about operational efficiency.
• Team player and effective communication skills

Good to have

• Exposure to Development / Security / Automation working experiences.
• Networking knowledge, such as routing, firewalls, DNS, cloud network components.
• Experiences in Policy As Code, such as Open Policy Agent. Hashicorp sentinel.
• Cloud, security, networking or other DevSecOps relevant certificates.
• Scripting ability using Python, Bash or Java
