RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a deep understanding of the dYdX API and triage partner questions and asks knowledgeably and comprehensively as the first line of support
- Understand the trading workflows and technical needs of the market makers and institutional trading firms active on dYdX
- Escalate issues that need back-end engineering support (while minimizing escalations)
- Provide ongoing summary reports summarizing issues, escalations, and status for each institutional firm
- Look for opportunities to support the back-end team and proactively carve out ownership of customer-facing items
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1-3 years experience working in an entry engineering role and/or highly technical support role for an API-driven product
- Required 1+ year of experience doing highly technical customer support for an API-driven product
- Ability to understand and deeply explain technical concepts, API documentation, and libraries (Python, websocket, and C++ in particular)
- A “get it done” attitude and ownership mentality – bias toward action, great collaboration and master disambiguation – constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
- Execution and detail oriented with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get things done
- Communicate effectively and in a structured manner across all mediums
- Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
- Desire and passion to go deep in crypto and DeFi (if no prior experience)

- SQL experience
