The Role

Cointelegraph is seeking a full time senior social media copywriter with specialized, advanced understanding of the cryptocurrency/DeFi/NFT space. The senior copywriter will craft posts for a variety of social media platforms for a selection of clients in the crypto space. This person has the opportunity to work under some incredibly knowledgeable individuals and scale their role with proven results in providing actionable and successful strategy to clients and projects. This role has high growth potential. For this role, an advanced understanding and/or background in the crypto world is expected.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write compellingly in multiple voices,craft narratives, and expertly tailor content according to both message and medium
• Write social media posts that are creative, concise, and engaging for a range of clients and in a variety of voices, from companies to influencers with large platforms
• Write engaging and high-performing copy for digital assets, including social media posts, social media graphics, social campaign documents, and general campaign copy
• Crafts sharp messaging, develops narratives that inform and entice, write scripts, and create punchy headlines, while consistently expressing brand personality
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Stay up-to-date on current best practices, trends and user experience in content engagement across digital platforms
• Maintain and develop a keen understanding of the crypto and NFT industry, its history, and benchmark against top-performing social media creators in the sector
• Partners to develop ideas with project leads from design, video, and web with oversight and support from the Creative Lead
• Solid understanding of social formats as well as production process
• Deep dedication to craft, from concept ideation to execution
• Positive team player who knows how to incorporate feedback and quickly and strategically come up with more creative solutions that tie back to the larger goals of the campaign and flagship company

Required Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in copywriting or creative content writing for social media platforms
• Expertise within the crypto, blockchain, and NFT industry is required, can be professional or personal
• Proven ability to excel in high-stress and fast-paced environments
• Media-fluid; ability to reach across platforms and media presentations
• Bonus if you have design or video editing skills
