BlockFi is looking for a Junior Sales Trader to join our growing team!
Your Mission
- Primary point of contact for APAC clients who require information about virtual assets and potential virtual asset trading on a day-to-today basis (24/7, 365 day schedule).
- Price and execute virtual asset trades.
- Facilitate and win client business for virtual asset-related activities, with an eye for risk management
- Assist with the development of information for clients about virtual assets.
- Maintain relationships with a broad set of voice-based liquidity takers and makers for virtual asset transactions.
- Help expand trading team capacity by responding to flow.
- Work with other parts of the business to backtest and develop new virtual asset trading strategies.
- Continually seeks to improve the virtual asset desk’s systems, procedures and the team’s virtual asset trading process.
- Monitor developments in the Hong Kong regulatory environment, including proposals of the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau in relation to the virtual asset sector.
Your Expertise
- Passionate about crypto.
- Bachelors or higher degree in finance related discipline.
- Years of experience actively trading: 1 - 5 years.
- Asks insightful questions to continually learn about market dynamics, pricing procedures & client relationships.
- Demonstrate a positive track record of PnL and Sharpe.
- Broader experience in cross-asset trading experience.
- Experience in non-linear products: vanilla and exotics, volatility, correlation.
- Solid foundation of understanding the Macroeconomic environment with a focus on global Emerging Markets.
- Programming/Tech qualifications; for example: R, Excel, VBA, Matlab, Java, Python or c++ .
