DESCRIPTION: – The Business Development Manager – Bilingual English/Chinese is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be a key member of the Business Development team and will be supporting the Bitcoin Mining team throughout the entire client engagement.

This is a rare invitation to join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group, with the backing of the most established player in the fast-growing crypto space.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Identify partnership and collaborative opportunities
  • Actively sell hardware offerings from Foundry
  • Manage secondary market supplier relationships in China
  • Help build new sales strategies for FoundryX
  • Syndicate global ASIC market prices to analytics and sales purposes
  • Source prospective suppliers internationally on the supply side to ensure competitive equipment costs
  • Manage client relationships on behalf of Foundry

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English
  • Located in Rochester or willing to relocate
  • Background in Financial Services and Underwriting
  • Strong negotiator
  • Experience with international business
  • Willingness to take calls at off hours
  • Self-starter
  • Motivated to deliver and close deals
  • Ability to travel internationally
