We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary Entrepreneur in Residence to focus on Commodities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commodity trading markets, a track record of launching successful product offerings, and an extensive network within the commodity trading industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Offering Design and Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the commodity-backed offering and trading growth and sustainability.
• Design the trading network's structure, rules, and protocols to ensure a secure, transparent, and efficient trading environment.
• Identify opportunities to integrate innovative blockchain solutions into the trading network.

2. Trading Party Recruitment:

• Identify and engage potential trading parties, including commodity producers, traders, and buyers, to join the network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trading partners to encourage long-term engagement and high trading volumes.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to attract new trading parties and expand the network's reach.

3. Market Analysis and Insights:

• Conduct in-depth market research to understand the commodity trading landscape and identify potential areas for growth.
• Analyze trading data and trends to provide valuable insights to trading parties and enhance the network's offerings.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and a competitive edge.

4. Product Development Collaboration:

• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to enhance the functionality and user trading experience.
• Gather feedback from trading parties and other stakeholders to guide continuous improvements to the platform.

5. Partnerships and Alliances:

• Identify strategic partnership opportunities with key players in the commodity trading industry to strengthen the network's position.
• Collaborate with partners to explore new markets and expand the offering of tradable assets.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the network's success and regularly report on its performance to stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement and take proactive steps to address challenges.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience and knowledge of commodity trading markets and their dynamics.
• Proven track record in designing and managing successful trading platforms or networks.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage and build relationships with trading parties.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in commodity trading, financial markets, or a related field.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its potential applications in trading is advantageous.
• A passion for innovation and a deep interest in the potential of blockchain technology to transform trading industries.
