Optimistic Ethereum is a scaling solution that enables anyone to execute any vision on an open source protocol that will never be captured by private commercial interests. We’re building this technology as a public good, in order to fundamentally change the relationship between companies and their users.
We are hiring a Sr. Technical Product Manager (title dependent on experience) to drive the end-to-end Optimistic Ethereum product experience.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Own the user experience across both product domains: Developer experience & End-User experience.
- Define the product roadmap delivering the Developer & End-User experience
- Deep focus on data to draw insights and identify gaps in developer & end-user experience, drive developer adoption, and drive end-user engagement
- Partner with engineering team to write technical specifications and to prioritize features
- Develop standards, specifications, and reference implementations of tools for partners to drive adoption and usage
- Brainstorm, test, and iterate to help drive decision making
- Identify product marketing opportunities & approaches
- Develop deep understanding of rapidly evolving competitive landscape to position OE for success
What skills do you bring?
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a mix of technical product manager and engineering roles
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple complex projects in parallel
- Familiarity with the crypto space/ecosystem
- A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent skills
- A passion for working on a community based product and finding simplicity in solutions
- A data-driven approach, understanding of MVP and good judgment on when to ship
