Role Overview:
As a Principal Engineer, you will be the technical visionary Newton, driving innovation and ensuring that our technology stack is cutting edge and compliant. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction, influencing engineering culture, and solving the most complex challenges facing our platform.

Responsibilities will include:
โ— Work directly with the CTO and be a key-decision maker and contributor to our technical vision and strategy
โ— Lead the architecture and design of the most critical systems and features
โ— Provide technical expertise and guidance to the entire organization
โ— Identify and solve for critical system failures and deficiencies
โ— Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business goals
โ— Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and approaches

Who you are:
โ— Mastery with Python or TypeScript, comfortable picking up any language
โ— Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale, high-performance systems
โ— Deep knowledge of distributed systems, and cryptographic principles
โ— Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
โ— Proven ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals
โ— Deep understanding and experience with blockchain technology and distributed systems
