Polymarket is looking for a Director of Finance to lead our financial operations in NYC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy, with a focus on driving business growth and operational excellence. 

What you'll do

• Oversee financial planning. You’ll lead the development of financial strategies and plans that align with our business goals. • Manage budgeting and forecasting. You’ll oversee the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts. • Analyze financial performance. You’ll analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance. You’ll ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Collaborate with leadership. You’ll work closely with the executive team to support strategic decision-making.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in strategic finance or accounting, with a strong preference for someone with experience in high-growth startups • CPA or CFA certification preferred • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills • (Plus) Experience in the fintech, blockchain or technology sectors
