As a Frontend Engineer for our Discretionary Technology team, you will build robust analytical tools and dashboards for systems that constantly process and analyze various sources used in our trading environment. You will work with a best-in-class group of researchers, traders, and engineers that work together to identify market trends, anomalies, and opportunities. An important function of this role will be to present and visualize data in a manner that best helps the team action on the insights.

Key Deliverables

• Build analytical tools and business intelligence dashboards in a Linux & Python environment.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements, define technical or process specifications and deliver visualization solutions that generate business insights.
• Design & develop front-end architecture & interactive user interfaces using leading industry tools.
• Ensure the flexibility and high-performance responsiveness of front-end architecture.
• Handle and resolve issues escalated from the production operational environment.
• Participate in idea brainstorming and contribute ideas to technology, algorithms and products.
• Ensure the quality of documentation and release notes for developers and users alike.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 4 years’ experience in developing data analytics dashboard solutions and visualization tools, with a focus on enabling users to effectively action upon data-driven insights.
• Experience with frontend technologies/frameworks (React, Vue.js). 
• Fluency with Unix shell and command line tools.
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence.
• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with basics of cryptocurrency trading and blockchain network/protocols preferred.
