As part of the post-sales organisation, Professional Services is responsible for driving successful customer outcomes through supporting the design, build and deployment of solutions. This team provides you with the opportunity to solve real-world business and technical challenges with large global corporates, banks and start-ups across many industries – Financial Services, Real Estate, Energy, Digital Assets, Identity and Healthcare.
Your mission as a Graduate Solutions Engineer is to help design customer solutions built on R3’s distributed ledger platform (Corda Enterprise) and create Corda Apps to solve customer problems.
This is a customer facing role which develops both soft skills, customer facing, design thinking, together with technical skills, software development and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Help facilitate design workshops with customers to understand their business problem
- Capture requirements in the form of Jira Stories
- Develop code using Java/Kotlin for customers on Corda Enterprise
- Work as either a scrum team in an agile development process or by following a waterfall metholology
- Help Provide Infrastructure blueprints leveraging containers and Kubernetes for deployment on common clouds offerings such as Azure, AWS or GCW to help provision with Terraform and Ansible
- Be a voice of the customer by sharing customer insights to support the development of R3’s products
Key Skills:
- Great customer facing skills ability
- A degree in computer science or a strong interest in programming
