Compliance – Senior Backend EngineerLocation: Remote, PhilippinesTeam: Compliance Engineering We are looking for software engineers from a variety of technical backgrounds with a proven track record in building scalable, reliable and performant systems. You'll have a direct impact on shaping our compliance services and APIs. As a Senior Backend Engineer you should lead by example - driving the technical discussions, influencing the approach and making a positive impact on the team's development by advocating the best engineering practices.Key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin & Java  Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.  Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and process large-scale data efficiently. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and testing processes.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and user-centric solutions.  Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.  Work closely with design and product teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing and server-side features

Required skills:

Proficiency in Java or Kotlin  Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL)  Understanding of system design principles and scalable architectures

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure  Knowledge of blockchain technologies or financial systems.  Proficiency in frontend technologies like React
