We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Lead to join an innovative web3 team focused on building a revolutionary retail product. As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of product, leading a team of talented developers, and driving the successful implementation of web3 retail solution.
Tasks
- Provide strong technical leadership to the development team, ensuring the use of best practices in web3 technologies, blockchain integration, and modern web development.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to design and architect innovative, stable, secure, and user-friendly retail software solutions.
- Hands-on development of key components, reviewing code, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality code on time.
- Oversee the integration of blockchain technology (Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, etc.) into our product, exploring the potential of decentralized solutions for retail.
- Contribute to the project’s technical roadmap.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web3 and blockchain technologies, evaluating their relevance to our product, and making recommendations for adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar disciplines
- Proven experience (min. 5+ years) as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer in web development, with a focus on web3, blockchain, or related technologies.
- Strong expertise in web3 technologies such as Ethereum (Ethers, Web3), smart contract development (Solidity Hardhat), and IPFS
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Previous experience in a startup environment, preferably in retail or blockchain-related projects.
- Familiar with at least one modern TypeScript/JavaScript frontend framework such as React (Redux), Angular and Vue.js
- Familiar with Python backend frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI (or similar)
- Good communication skills
- Interest in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
- Must be able to work independently
- Experience working on consumer facing products is a plus
- Knowledge of the latest web/mobile design trends is a plus
