As a Senior Product Designer with a focus on Consumer Services, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and delightful experiences that allow customers to buy, sell, stake, swap cryptocurrencies as well as subscribe services like Recover or CL Card through the Ledger Live app. Your work will have a direct impact on the future of Ledger and millions of people worldwide.
You will work closely with executives, product managers, engineers, and designers to create seamless, user-friendly, and high-performing interfaces and flows.

Main Mission

    • Design beautiful, usable and high-performing flows.
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback, validate design decisions, and ensure your designs meet user needs.
    • Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to build world-class user experiences.
    • Ensure high standards for design and product quality, meticulously crafting every aspect of the design system.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, introducing fresh and innovative approaches to the team.
    • Collaborate with other designers on shaping the user experience for millions.

What we’re looking for

    • Proven experience (5+ years ideally) in product design with a strong emphasis in the transaction, payment field or financial services using human insights to guide your work.
    • High proficiency in Figma, with expertise in its best practices for designing and implementing design systems.
    • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging human insights and data to inform and drive your design decisions.
    • Capacity to rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes and knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail or when to make low-fi sketchesDeep understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and information architecture.A deep knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility without compromising on aesthetics.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts and rationale to non designers.
    • Open-minded, strong team player and eager to collaborate, both with other designers, engineers and other stakeholders.

Web3 product designers need to be familiar with blockchain technology, smart contract programming languages, and decentralized networks, in order to design products that can operate effectively in a decentralized environment

They need to be able to work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is designed in a way that maximizes user control and ownership, while minimizing the potential for fraud or malicious activity

Web3 product designers may work on a range of products, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, decentralized social networks, and more

They may also work closely with blockchain developers, economists, and other specialists to create products that are both innovative and practical, while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
