What we are looking for...A dynamic, experienced Quantitative Researcher to work in collaboration with our engineers, data scientists and quantitative traders to support our market-making and proprietary trading initiatives.

Job description

An ideal candidate lives and breathes math and statistics, enjoys digging into data, loves solving hard, ambiguous challenges and ideally has a track record of adding significant, tangible value to trading businesses. Your mission will be to help shape Keyrock’s trading strategies. Tasks:

  • market-making and optimal quoting of HL assets (CeFi and DeFi); 

  • researching and building proprietary trading algorithms for high- and mid-frequency strategies on spot, perpetual, and futures/forwards markets; 

  • trading and hedging both cryptocurrencies and FX.

Background and experience

As a Quantitative Trading researcher, you have strong analytical capabilities and are fully comfortable with financial markets and trading algorithms in order books. You are/have:

  • 3+ years experience in quantitative research at a bank, asset manager, or trading firm

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good communicator

  • Programming skills in Python

  • Prior experience in building or researching trading algorithms

  • Desirable: a master-level degree or PhD in a relevant hard science eg. maths, statistics, astronomy, physics, quant finance etc.

  • A passion for algorithmic trading

  • The ability to take ownership of a project while collaborating on it with colleagues

  • Fluency in English
