About Polymarket
Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market. It’s half "put your money where your mouth is," half search engine for the future.
We're growing fast – both in terms of volume (>$1B traded so far this year) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
Polymarket is looking for a pragmatic and resourceful full-stack engineer to join our Platform team. This role is focused on building and maintaining essential internal systems that power the day-to-day operations across the company. You’ll also work on customer service APIs and build quick, effective internal solutions to support a growing and fast-moving organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves solving practical problems, building useful tools, and working closely with teammates across different departments.
What You’ll Do
Build internal tools that make a difference. Help mission-critical teams (like customer support and operations) work smarter and faster by creating simple, effective tools.
Move fast and ship often. You’ll launch small improvements and fixes regularly, without getting bogged down in red tape.
Work across the stack. You’ll touch both frontend and backend code, using modern tools and frameworks.
Collaborate constantly. You’ll partner with internal users to understand their needs, gather feedback, and make changes quickly.
Write clean, reliable code. Help ensure the tools we build are easy to maintain and scale as we grow.
Participate in code reviews. Learn from others and help keep our codebase high quality.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of professional software development experience
Solid experience building full-stack web applications
Strong skills in Typescript, Javascript (ES6+), and CSS
Experience with React and Node.js (Next.js is a bonus)
Great communication and collaboration skills—you enjoy working with others to solve real problems

- Building the user interface for a dApp using React. This could involve creating components for the various elements of the dApp, such as buttons, forms, and other input elements.
- Implementing features that are specific to decentralized applications, such as handling cryptocurrency transactions and displaying data from the blockchain in a user-friendly way.
- Collaborating with other members of the development team, such as blockchain engineers and designers, to ensure that the dApp functions properly and meets the needs of the end users.
