The Role:

Our Client is looking for experienced Head Institutional Sales to lead a team,This role is crucial for driving growth and engagement among the most valuable clients and institutional partners. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of institutional client management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales and relationship management.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensuring clear communication and alignment across the team.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the VIP & Institutional Sales department.
  • Ensuring timely and effective resolution of client inquiries and issues.
  • Developing and implementing processes and systems to enhance the client experience.
  • Continuously monitoring and improving sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Developing and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Actively gathering and analyzing client feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implementing initiatives to address client pain points and enhance their overall experience.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue from VIP and institutional clients.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with VIP and institutional clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Representing the VIP & Institutional Sales department in stakeholder meetings, both internal and external.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or financial services institutional sales or a related field, with a focus on managing high-value clients and institutional partners.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and complex sales operations.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing client-centric sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of UHNW and institutional client service operations and best practices.
  • Ability to drive client satisfaction and loyalty while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
