Unfortunately, traditional colleges and universities have no incentive to ensure their graduates get hired – they get paid regardless.

Role Overview
BloomTech is looking for several Web3 Learner Assistants to support our new Web3 Development course! The Learner Assistants will help learners through our curriculum as they produce ‘resume-able’ projects including:

• Developing, deploying and testing Solidity Contracts
• Understanding Blockchain Cryptography, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Ethereum Tokens
• Working with DeFi
• Hacking Smart Contracts

What You'll Do

• Be available during the week/weekends for varying four hour shifts in the afternoon/evenings (specific availability indicated in application)
• Provide academic support to our Web3 learners in the following venues:
• Engage in online discussion forums with Web3 learners that require assistance
• Track and respond to help tickets from Web3 learners using Salesforce
• Hold regular ‘Ask an Expert’ hours with groups of Web3 learners
• Allocate regular 1-1 time for individual support
• Provide feedback and liaise, as needed, with the management team
• Report, as needed, to BloomTech on learner progress and successes throughout the course
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams dedicated to learner success on a regular basis
• Hold as-needed retrospective meetings on projects and content

What You'll Have

• Significant experience developing Solidity contracts and decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a novice; strong empathy for learners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-starting with the ability to effectively work autonomously with little oversight
• Process-oriented with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Extremely comfortable and compelling in public speaking situations
• Takes initiative and proactively solves problems
