Financial Operations Manager

Finops is the beating heart of Shakepay. We now have over 1,000,000 shakers (aka “customers”) who have, of course, chosen us as their guide into the Bitcoin Golden Age. If you think a million people means that there’s a lot of bitcoin moving around—you’re right! That was the first test. It’s the responsibility of our amazing Finops team to ensure customer funds are processed properly and quickly. If you think that it’s exactly that customer experience which allows us to claim to be the easiest way for Canadians to buy and earn bitcoin—you’re right! That was the second test. 

As the Finops Manager, you’ll guide our Finops team and manage the standards, processes, and procedures we have in place to provide our customers with a frictionless experience and to limit our exposure to risk. You’ll work closely with other internal teams and have opportunities to make an impact on the future of Shakepay.
