About the role:

At Coin Homes, we believe that decentralized technologies will be a driving force in creating a new global financial system that is more equitable, inclusive, and efficient.
We are looking to add a DeFi researcher — someone who loves DeFi, crypto and blockchain, markets, and financial engineering. As our first research associate, your mission is to lead research into various financial protocols and mechanisms. In this role, you will be working closely with the investment team, helping to shape our investment strategies, as well as influencing the development of our own in-house products.

What you’ll achieve:

Exploring and evaluating protocols to help the team identify investment opportunities and the risks associated with them.
Serving as an educational resource for the rest of the team where we will heavily rely on your professional expertise and opinion
Assist in and publishing original research for both internal and external consumption
Analyze token investment and utilization opportunities to maximize returns
Develop relationships with the crypto community at large, and help source new investment opportunities.

What you bring:

• You have deep knowledge of DeFi, crypto, and knowledge of traditional finance products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss and explain technical concepts, solutions and architectures
• Extreme open-mindedness to new ideas with a mindset of continuous learning
