Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for Marketing and Communications Manager ( PR or IR ) at 280 Capital. The role will be responsible for managing press releases, media relations, communication, public relations, and strategic communications. The role is primarily located in San Francisco or New York, with flexibility for some remote work. This role is central to enhancing our brand’s presence in the market and communicating our vision both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in IR/PR activities and oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with our company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Cultivate a vibrant community by engaging with stakeholders and customizing our services to meet their specific needs.

• Marketing Mastery: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that boost our brand visibility, captivate our audience, and strengthen customer relationships.

• Strategic Storytelling: Craft and convey the 280 Capital story through engaging narratives that effectively communicate our milestones and roadmap to our audience.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Coordinate and manage product launches, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to market leadership.

• Brand Custodianship: Maintain and elevate the 280 Capital brand, ensuring consistency and innovation at all touchpoints.

• IR/PR Management: Handle investor relations and public relations, ensuring clear and consistent communication strategies that enhance stakeholder trust and company reputation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a background in Web3, blockchain, or similar tech-focused industries.

• Exceptional command of the English language and a demonstrated ability in impactful storytelling.

• Strong interest or expertise in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and AI, with the ability to leverage this knowledge in strategic marketing and communications.

• Creative thinker and innovator, with a passion for disruptive technology.

• Extensive network of influencer, media, and PR connections to leverage for brand growth.
