Location: Remote, willing to work in the PST time zone with eventual relocation to Los Angeles, CA being preferred.

Salary: $90,000-$100,000, international applicants are offered a competitive range based on their location.

As a senior full-stack software developer, you will leverage your skills and expertise to build out our open technology products and platforms for Earth-scale deployment. Our solutions range from digital climate accounting systems, solar energy financing platforms, biodiversity measurement, and protection protocols, to Earth game engines and digital twins for research and simulation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop open-source features and infrastructure for OEF climate projects.
• Provide strategic advice for technical assessment, definition, prioritization, architecture, design, and deployment of new products and services.
• Co-design solution architectures and document in system diagrams.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in agile technology development.
• Formal training or significant real-world experience in computer science, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, systems design, or related areas
• Ideally, startup and/or open source communities experience.
• Has experience developing creative solutions with emerging technologies (i.e. blockchain, IoT, AI, Big Data, GIS, or Web3.0).
• Has experience building enterprise-grade platforms with stunning front-end and high-throughput infrastructure.
• Is committed to open-source technology products and platforms, multi-stakeholder innovation and big-picture climate solutions, and embraces new challenges.
• Deep knowledge and experience with some areas of our tech stack (i.e. React, Node.js, Go, Python and MongoDB).
• Some AWS, Azure or Google Cloud management familiarity.
• Some DevOps infrastructure familiarity.
• Ideally DID framework (eg. Hyperledger Indy, Aries, Sovrin), Blockchain environments (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Stellar, Polkadot), or Machine/Deep Learning experience.
• Ability and drive to immerse yourself in new technologies as needed.
• Capacity to work with team members and partners at all levels and across time zones in a highly collaborative and often remote environment.
