Job Summary
The DeFi Specialist is responsible for supporting our Head of DeFi in analyzing, performing due diligence, and identifying projects seeking liquidity provisioning. This role involves end-to-end support in the liquidity deal process, requiring effective coordination and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
This position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DeFi protocols, liquidity strategies, and industry trends. The role involves drafting and analyzing proposals, maintaining open communication channels, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our internal team, project teams, and our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of DeFi with project analysis, due diligence, and identification of liquidity provisioning opportunities.
- Draft and review proposals for liquidity deals.
- Maintain clear and open communication with internal team members, project teams, and Dewhales members.
- Support the end-to-end process of liquidity deals, from initial analysis to deal closure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the DeFi industry, with a focus on liquidity provisioning or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and liquidity strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
