We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People Team. Your scope will include managing the full employee lifecycle processes and new hires and ensuring a welcoming and informative introduction to Matter Labs culture and operations. Additionally, you will support the benefits, relocations and work visa applications, manage and analyze data in our People Operations systems, and maintain confidential employee files.

We expect you to bring a proactive and innovative approach to all aspects of People Operations, continuously seeking improvements in our processes and policies. You should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, enabling you to be an effective point of contact for employee queries. Your role will require a keen eye for detail, especially in managing HR data and contributing to policy development. Moreover, we look forward to you playing a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement and supporting the overall objectives of our People Team.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates based within the European time-zone.

What You'll Be Doing

    • People Administration: Execute existing POPS processes while proactively identifying and implementing improvements, ensuring operational excellence in People Operations.
    • Onboarding Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new hires from contract creation to the successful completion of their probation period.
    • Policy and Process Shaping: Actively contribute to the development and refinement of People policies and processes, including relocation guidelines, to align with the organization's evolving needs.
    • HR Data Management: Manage HR data within the HiBOB system, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and effective utilization for People analytics and decision-making.
    • Survey Administration and Analytics: Facilitate and analyze employee surveys, leveraging insights to inform HR strategies and improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
    • People Operations Processing: Serve as the go-to person for all People Operations processing, delivering efficient and accurate People services across Matter Labs.

What We Look For in You

    • 3+ years of HR or HR Generalist experience
    • Experience managing employee onboarding
    • Experience working with employee benefits and relocations
    • Experience working at a growing and fast-paced start-up
    • Strong written and verbal communication skill
    • English is your native language or you are completely fluent
    • High attention to detail
    • Impeccable level of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
    • Passion for emerging technologies and creative problem-solving in decentralized systems
    • Eagerness to stay updated with tech trends and ability to quickly adapt to new technological landscapes
