We are expanding our world-class exchange and are seeking a qualified legal and compliance professional to support rapid business growth. The Compliance Manager will support the compliance function for the exchange. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and drive the strategy, framework and execution of a compliance program in a demanding and ever changing Cryptocurrency landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and ensuring compliance with industry rules, regulations and trends in the cryptocurrency industry
• Assisting in the direction and development of compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures systematically across our exchange
• Facilitating information requests from state and federal governments, partners, and other regulatory bodies
• Cross functional support for the Compliance team as needed
• Partner with key stakeholders within the business, including Finance and Legal functions, to manage and meet all regulatory deadlines in a timely manner
• Provide input as it relates to updates required to internal policy and procedure based on changes to existing regulation
• Remain up-to-date on industry-related best practices and enforcement activities and act as an advisor to the executive team and other partners to roll out and manage adjustments as required

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of compliance (and/or legal) expertise in the crypto industry
• Prior experience successfully engaging with government and regulatory bodies
• Professional or personal experience working in cryptocurrency including the ability to speak intelligently about how the industry functions
• Desire and drive to help build a Compliance program capable of supporting the growth and scale of a revolutionary company in the crypto space
• Proven experience troubleshooting and discovering solutions quickly and effectively with exemplary written and verbal communication skills
