Associate General Counsel
Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate various types of commercial agreements
- Support the internal Marketing team and advise on marketing strategies and materials
- Work with the grants teams to further develop and refine grants programs
- Advise on other complex transactions such as investments and fund formations
- Product counseling as needed
- Support the development of internal policies and procedures
- Help build out legal department infrastructure for efficient cross functional collaboration
- Monitor and stay abreast of relevant legislation and regulations
- Other projects as needed
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, especially within a similar in-house environment
- J.D. and licensed in a U.S. state (preferably including California)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- A good command of the English language
- Experience in the blockchain/crypto/Web3 space, with a special focus on contracts
