(New York, NY) Write low latency financial software that will process billions of dollars a day worth of trading volume, including order book matching engines, trading engines, and REST and WebSocket API endpoints. Develop open source blockchain-based code that powers the dYdX protocol. Build high performance REST and WebSocket APIs to power the front-end application as well as programmatic traders. Write open-source TypeScript and Python client-side applications that allow users to interact directly with on-chain smart contracts.  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience or alternatively, a Master’s degree in same and 1 year of experience. Experience must include working with blockchain platforms (Cosmos SDK, Ethereum), distributed systems, smart contracts, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2/Glue/S3/Athena, as well as tools including Golang, React, TypeScript, Docker, Linux and Python.  The pay range for this role in New York City is $130,000 to $230,000.
