Asymmetric Research:

Asymmetric Research ("AR") is a boutique security venture focused on deep partnerships with L1/L2 blockchains and DeFi protocols in an effort to keep them safe. We specialize in four core domains of web3 security: research, engineering, incident response, and infrastructure services.

Culture:

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for company with a focus on global technical roles, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiations

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

  • Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels, with a focus on quality and long-term fit

  • Partner with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs, define role requirements, and build effective interview processes

  • Train and support team members on interview best practices and hiring readiness

  • Collaborate with individuals across our ecosystem to identify emerging talent, match skills with opportunities, and support talent development

  • Track pipeline health, hiring metrics, and ensure consistent ATS usage (Ashby)

  • May be required to support People Operations tasks as needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, ideally in a high-growth or start up global tech environment

  • Proven success hiring for roles like Security Engineers, or TPM

  • Strong sourcing skills and a proactive approach to building pipelines

  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge and advise hiring managers

  • Familiar with Boolean sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, and Google)

  • Organised, data-driven, and passionate about hiring great people

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working across different timezones

  • While we are a globally distributed team, for this role we prefer candidates who are based in a European or Eastern Standard Time zone.

  • Nice to Have: Previous Experience in Human Resources or People Operations.

Perks & Benefits (may vary by location):
